Defiantly agree about the supply side in general. Although after talking to friends of mine who live up north, it is clear that different markets are in very different stages, ie over supply.

I think the rail link between Melbourne and Brisbane is generally a good idea, but the cost of it will probably make it not as good as what other investments may have been. I hope it boosts the towns in between.

The whole property thing is a huge thing, with lots of different factors. Tax saving is a good idea, but helping the demand side probably won’t be as helpful as helping the supply side could be.
